I am registered with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists (UKCP) as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, being a member of the Association of Group and Individual Psychotherapists (AGIP).
I am a senior accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapist, BACP. Through the BACP I am also a UK registered practitioner, (UKRCP).
These establishe my competence to practice.
I adhere to the ethical codes of practice of AGIP, UKCP and to the BACP Ethical Guidelines and Framework of Practice.
Qualifications
MSc Psychodynamic Counselling, Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling, Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Counselling.
Throughout my career I have regularly attended many short courses, workshops and conferences for professional development.
I attend confidential supervision to maintain professional standards.
I have a wide experience of long-term psychodynamic work from within my training agency, the NHS and private practice. I have been working psychoanalytically as well for the last six years, both at my psychoanalytic training agency and privately. I work short term with clients referred from employer assistance programs.
